Kyustendil is situated at the foot Osogovo on both banks of the Banska and is a well-known center of balneology and fruit.
Kyustendil is a national balneology resort, at an altitude of 600 meters. There are more than 40 mineral springs in town. The waters have a high content of sulfur compounds. They are used to treat musculoskeletal, gynecological and other kinds of diseases. Resort region includes several baths, spas and more complex.
