Orasul de pe tarmul Marii Negre, Burgas, a cam fost evitat de turistii straini care aleg Bulgaria ca destinatie pentru a isi petrece vacanta. Una din cauze ar putea fi faptul ca este un oras prea industrializat. Situat pe malul Marii Negre, Burgas este al patrulea oras ca marime din tara vecina si un centru economic si cultural important. Cu toate acestea orasul are cateva plaje foarte frumoase ce merita vazute si ar putea constitui un punct excelent de plecare pentru cei ce doresc sa viziteze si alte statiuni de pe litoralul Marii Negre cum ar fi Slantchev Briag mai la nord sau Duni Viallage la sud. Aceasta zona este puternic dezvoltata pentru turismul de pe litoral si ofera locuri de cazare in aproape 90 de hoteluri si 17 camping-uri. Anual zona atrage in jur de 2.5 milioane de turisti din Bulgaria si din afara tarii.

Burgasul in sine este un oras atractiv si desi destul de mare, poate reprezenta un refugiu placut din multimea de turisti si comercialul uneori agasant al statiunilor de la Marea Neagra. Centrul orasului este foarte turistic, primitor si poate fi un punct de pornire bun pentru a explora orasele din apropiere de pe tarmul Marii Negre. Cei pasionati se pot bucura de cateva ore de surfing sau scuba diving iar daca sunteti interesati de istoria industriala a orasului puteti vizita exploatarea de sare din zona pentru a vedea cum se produce sarea si cum este ea rafinata.

Copacii defrisati masiv sub pretextul mincinos al toaletarii (mai rau ca la noi), orasul neingrijit si in multe parti comunist, saracacios, trist. Mancarea, serviciile si preturile mult mai bune decat cele din Romania.

Statiunea micuta dar frumoasa. Sunt magazine de unde pot cumpara suveniruri, haine, dar si supermarket. Plaja cu nisip fin. In dreptul hotelului, in apa nu se poate intra pentru ca desi este nisip fin sunt si pietre. In apropiere era teava prin care veneau in apa deseuri de la toaletele hotelurilor...mirosea ingrozitor.

Sta?iunea cam paraginita, nu prea ai unde sa te plimbi, ce sa vizitezi. amplasamentul hotelului ok, dar imprejurimile ar putea fi mai ingrijite.

- statiunea micuta, pentru oameni linistiti, fara multe distractii sau obiective turistice. a doua oara ni s-a parut chiar plictisitoare, pentru ca nu mai aveam ce vedea nou. - de vizitat: orasul Nessebar (sub patrimoniul Unesco), pana la care exista transport direct cu barca din statiune; - o plimbare prin complexul alaturat e interesanta (pe la poarta e interzis accesul daca nu stai acolo, dar poti ajunge pe plaja pana la ei)
