Picturesque situated on both banks of the river Devinska in the western chain of Rhodope Mountains, Devin is famous for its pleasant climate and water or springs. Located 196 km from Sofia and 40 km from Smolyan, the city is also very close to Pamporovo ski resort.

Devin is known as the best spa in the Rodopi mountains. Mineralized water here is a low proportion, fluorite, with a great taste. Along with the excellent recreational and treatment can include, besides the natural beauty and fresh air of the mountains.

Bedenski mineral baths are located only 10 km from Devin and Mihalkovo village with sparkling water resources major, is 20 km from the SPA. One of the attractions of this village is Shiroka Laka, an outdoor museum with 60 traditional houses of the Bulgarian Renaissance period, representing specific cultures and traditions of the inhabitants of the Rhodope Mountains.
