About Troyan

Trojan is part of the district town of Lovech is situated on the river Beli Osum the northern foot of Troyan-Kalofer Mountain, 35 km south of Lovech. It is a mountain resort known for treating lung diseases. It lies at an altitude of 300-499 m above sea level, covers an area of 60,243 km ² and has a population of 22,348 inhabitants (census 01/01/2007).
