Varna is a city in eastern Bulgaria, situated on the west coast of the Black Sea. It is an important seaport and resort.
Varna is called the sea capital of Bulgaria, because Bulgaria is the largest coastal city. Varna has also long been the Bulgarian Navy. Currently, there is a Naval Museum with a museum ship (vessel torpedo Draski).

In the sixth century BC in this place, Greek settlers founded Polis Odessa. In 1444, King Ladislaus III of Poland was defeated with his army of crusaders by the Turks at the Battle of Varna. Ladislas III died, receiving over-Varnensis name.

Recommendations for travel Varna

It is better to start walking through the monuments and visiting Varna Independence Square, where they are and Opera. Then go to the ruins of ancient Roman-era city walls and the Round Tower. Be sure to log in to halt the Assumption Cathedral in the public garden next to Varna. Then you would do well to simply wander through residential neighborhoods, streets that are pitesc including chestnut and sycamore trees, then go to the port city.
